Southern Cookin'

I had a lovely dinner & evening last night with Ashley, Ben, Jen Elisabeth, Pat & Adeline. I made a bunch of southern-style veg food. Sweet potatoes, collards, cornbread, hoppin' jon, breaded tofu, green beans. Elisabeth read some Celan in German, a bunch of us taped our faces up in contorted ways. Sam & Shannon came by later. It was nice.

Received a really amazing sequence of poems from Ana yesterday. I was reading it as I walked out of the English building at Wesleyan. Was so absorbed that I walked into a sprinkler spray & got my pants all wet. I mean that as a compliment.
