Almost Out

Finishing grading, giving back grades to students today. Meeting with someone from Wesleyan to possibly pick up a summer gig. I have to tell you that I think my paper for my Post Colonial Poetics might have been the first PoCo paper to be fueled almost entirely by black metal. The following are my black metal paper-writing faves: Haemoth, Leviathan, Xasthur and Emporer. Things that are not good to listen to while writing a paper that is slightly smarter than you are include: Low, Mogwai, crickets, soothing ocean waves, Tangerine Dream, Jim J. Bullock's snores in the adjoining room.
